How do you create a great gaming setup?
To dive into your favorite games, a good gaming setup makes all the difference! With Subsonic gaming furniture and accessories, you can easily create a space that is practical, comfortable, and stylish.
The gaming desk is the centerpiece of a successful setup. At Subsonic, gaming desks are designed to combine style and functionality, with carbon finishes, wide surfaces, built-in cable management, and even custom mats in the colors of your favorite worlds and characters for an immersive atmosphere. Think of a desk that’s spacious enough to hold your monitors and other accessories without cluttering your space.
At the heart of any gaming setup, you’ll find the central unit, often known as a desktop PC or gaming laptop. For a smooth gaming experience, choose a powerful processor. The latest Intel Core or AMD Ryzen processors deliver excellent performance. Pair it with at least 16 GB of RAM to ensure smooth operation in the most demanding video games. And don’t forget the graphics card, cooling system, and SSD drives so you can fully enjoy your games without worry!
To play comfortably, the gaming chair is a must-have. Subsonic offers officially licensed models inspired by your favorite worlds — Harry Potter, Dragon Ball, Brawl Stars, AC/DC, The Lord of the Rings — with ergonomic adjustments for the backrest, seat, and armrests. You’ll enjoy perfect posture, even during your longest and most intense sessions. And best of all, there’s something for every age and every taste!
Well-chosen accessories bring comfort and precision. Here are some Subsonic essentials:
Mouse pads: XXL size (90x40 cm) or standard formats, Subsonic mouse pads are optimized for smooth and precise tracking. Available under official licenses Harry Potter, Dragon Ball, Batman, AC/DC, Iron Maiden, One Piece, Brawl Stars, and Assassin's Creed.
Headset stands: no more headset lying around! Subsonic headset stands make it easy to keep everything tidy, and some include USB ports to charge your controllers or even your phone while you play!
Controllers: at Subsonic, enjoy wireless controllers under official Dragon Ball and One Piece licenses for playing on PC, PS5, PS4, or Nintendo Switch, starting at €29.99.
Finally, create an atmosphere that reflects you by adding a personal touch. Between light-up accessories, controller stands, or shelves to display your games and figurines, make your setup a unique space that feels like you!
A good gaming setup is all about balancing performance, comfort, and budget. The key is to choose the best products based on your needs. With a solid setup, you’ll be ready to play the latest video games with an unmatched gaming experience.
How do you organize your gaming desk properly?
You’ve got your dream setup? Perfect, but to enjoy it to the fullest, it’s time to organize your gaming desk like a pro! Here are our best tips for an optimized, practical, and stylish desk!
A well-organized gaming desk is the foundation for playing without distractions in your bedroom or office. Make sure everything has its place and that your gaming surface stays clear.
Divide your space: monitors in the center, keyboard and mouse placed neatly on either side... find a layout where everything is accessible. With Subsonic desks, it’s easy thanks to models that offer a generous and stylish surface!
Cable management, made easy: a messy desk can be annoying. Use the built-in cable management on the desk and ties to bundle the cords together. The result: no cables lying around and a clean look for your setup!
To avoid pain and stay at your best, think ergonomics! Adjusting your chair and accessories properly makes all the difference.
Gaming chair adjusted to your desk: choose a chair that lets you keep your arms and legs in a natural, relaxed position. Subsonic offers ergonomic chairs that adjust perfectly for long-lasting comfort.
Wrist rests and floor mats: not a fan of wrist pain? A wrist rest can save your hands and your carpal tunnel! The gaming floor mat, meanwhile, protects your flooring and ensures smooth movement for your chair.
This is your space, so have fun with the decor! Officially licensed Subsonic accessories are perfect for personalizing your setup and showing your passion for your favorite movies, series, bands, and games.
Show off your favorite accessories: headset stand, controllers, figurines, RGB LEDs... place your items on shelves or wall mounts with the right lighting and illumination.
Coordinate the colors: match the color of your chair, desk, and accessories for a setup that stands out! With the variety of officially licensed furniture offered by Subsonic — Harry Potter, Dragon Ball, Brawl Stars, One Piece, AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Ghost, The Lord of the Rings, and Assassin's Creed — you’re sure to have a complete setup that reflects you!

Gaming setup: all your questions
What makes a good gaming setup?
A good gaming setup is built on three pillars: performance (PC, monitor), comfort (ergonomic gaming chair, suitable desk), and atmosphere (officially licensed accessories, lighting, decor). At Subsonic, we offer all these elements at an affordable price, with or without official licensing.
What budget should you plan for a complete gaming setup?
It all depends on your priorities. Gaming furniture (desk + chair) makes up the bulk of the investment, starting at $250 when you combine a Subsonic desk and a Junior gaming chair. Accessories (XXL mouse pad, wrist rest, headset stand) complete the setup starting at less than $20 each.
What is the difference between a gaming chair and an office chair?
The gaming chair is designed for long sessions: bucket-style seat, reinforced lumbar support, adjustable armrests, and high-density padding. The standard office chair is more versatile but less suited to intensive use. For gamers who play several hours a day, the gaming chair is clearly the best option.
Why choose an XXL mouse pad instead of a standard one?
An XXL mouse pad (90x40 cm) covers the entire desk: keyboard and mouse on the same surface, wide movements without restriction, and protection for the tabletop. It has become the benchmark for any serious gaming setup. Standard mouse pads (25x20 cm) are only suitable for light office use without large mouse movements.
Are there complete gaming setups under official license?
Yes. Subsonic is the only French brand to offer complete gaming setups under official licenses: gaming chair, desk, floor mat, XXL mouse pad, and accessories all in the same universe. Available licenses: Harry Potter, Dragon Ball, Brawl Stars, One Piece, The Lord of the Rings, AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Motörhead, Ghost, Batman, and Assassin's Creed.
Are Subsonic gaming accessories compatible with PS5, PS4, and Nintendo Switch?
Yes. Our wireless gaming controllers are compatible with PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, and PC. Mouse pads, floor mats, chairs, and desks are universal accessories that fit into any setup, no matter your gaming platform.
