Which gaming controller should you choose in 2026?
Finding the right gaming controller has never been more complicated. Between pricey official models, unlicensed copies, and mid-range options that struggle to convince, it’s hard to know what to choose. At Subsonic, we’ve taken a simple approach: offering you quality wireless controllers at a fair price, compatible with most platforms:
- PS5
- PS4
- Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch
- PC
Whether you’re looking for an affordable PS5 controller to complete your setup, a wireless Switch 2 controller for gaming on the go, or an officially licensed Dragon Ball or One Piece controller to show off your fandom, you’re sure to find what you need in our range.
PS5, PS4, Switch, or PC controller
The choice will of course depend on your platform: PC, console... You will therefore need to check whether the controller model is compatible with your console. Note that the Subsonic Switch controllers all have dual compatibility with Switch and Switch 2.
The PS5 controller: the holy grail
The PS5 controller is today the most sought-after gaming controller in France. The official Sony model is excellent, but its price often exceeds €70. Quality alternatives like those from Subsonic let you enjoy a high-performance wireless PS5 controller for under €50, with no compromise on grip or reliability.
Our wireless PS5 controllers are built with battery life designed for long sessions. And for gaming and pop culture fans, our officially licensed Dragon Ball and One Piece models bring a unique touch you won't find anywhere else at this price.
The PS4 controller is really holding up.
The PS4 remains a very popular console in France. Its official controller ages well, but it gets scratched, wears out, and often ends up with failing analog sticks. Our wireless PS4 controllers Subsonic are a solid alternative, also available under Dragon Ball and One Piece licenses — ideal for replacing a faulty controller or offering a second controller for co-op play.
The Switch 2 and Switch controller
Since the launch of the Nintendo Switch 2, demand has been exploding for reasonably priced compatible Switch 2 controllers. Subsonic offers a wireless Switch 2 controller starting at €26.99 and Switch that delivers a comfortable, intuitive grip with stable wireless connectivity and full compatibility with both generations of console.
For anime fans, our Dragon Ball and One Piece controllers are also available on Switch and Switch 2 — a perfect gift for players who want to customize their Nintendo experience.
The PC controller
The good news with our Subsonic PS5 and PS4 controllers is that they are all compatible with PC via wireless connection. No need to buy a dedicated controller. Whether you play on Steam, Epic Games, or in emulation, our controllers connect easily and offer broad compatibility with PC games on the market.
Officially licensed controllers: our real difference
This is where Subsonic really stands out. In a highly competitive gaming controller market, dominated by major brands, we chose to offer something no one else does at this price: officially licensed gaming controllers, developed in partnership with the rights holders.
Dragon Ball Super controller: for manga fans
Vegeta, Goku, Frieza… The iconic Dragon Ball characters are coming to your controller. Developed under official Toei Animation license, our Dragon Ball controllers are available on PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2 and PC. A 100% official certified product, with a carefully crafted design, that will appeal to collectors and everyday gamers alike.
Looking for a Dragon Ball gift idea for a video game fan? It's probably the best option on the market for a gift under €50.
One Piece Controller: set sail on a new adventure
Luffy, the Jolly Roger, the iconic colors of the Straw Hat crew… Our officially licensed One Piece controller is a rare find. Available for PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, PC, iOS, and Android, it’s one of the few One Piece licensed controllers available on the market, at an affordable price.
Compatible with iOS and Android, it’s designed for both console players and mobile gamers: a true Swiss Army knife for fans of Oda’s universe.
