Features

The gamer floor mat AC/DC is specially designed for extreme music lovers looking for a mat that offers an optimal surface with a decidedly Rock’n Roll look. Our gaming mat improves your comfort while protecting your floor from scratches and wear.

Designed to stand the test of time, it is made of durable polyester and features a non-slip rubber base that ensures perfect grip on any type of floor, preventing any slipping, even during Angus Young’s wild solos.

For care, no worries: our floor mat can be hand-washed for small stains, or machine-washed at low temperature for a deeper clean and to restore all its splendor.

For Prince Charles and Diana

To create our floor mat, we chose a cult album by AC/DC: "For Those About to Rock (We Salute You)," the seventh album by AC/DC, created and recorded in Paris in November 1981. An essential album in the band's hard rock discography, instantly recognizable thanks to its iconic cover featuring a cannon, which closes every AC/DC concert.

The inspiration for the cannon came from the wedding of Prince Charles and Diana Spencer, held at St. Paul's Cathedral in London on July 29, 1981. That day, while recording "For Those About To Rock," Angus Young was captivated by a clip of the ceremony broadcast on television, accompanied by the sound of cannons. Angus said: « I wanted something powerful, manly, and Rock 'N Roll. And what could be more manly than a cannon? It reloads, it fires, and it destroys. » To listen to first: "For Those About to Rock", "Night Of The Long Knives", "Let’s Get It Up".
